We were asked to create the ultimate gaming experience for Red Bull that brought Street Fighter into the real world in a never-before-seen concept that took over the streets immersing attendees into the game world. The event needed to allow competitive and consumer play with every touchpoint being an experience.
We created an asset for Red Bull that was able to activate on the ground and online which proved vital over 2020 lockdown. Over 4 years we created multiple experiences, bringing Street Fighter to life including shutting down streets for consumers to experience the world of Street Fighter (and later, Tekken) with a space for the local qualifiers for Red Bull Kumite, the global Street Fighter championships.
The events attracted e-sports enthusiasts and allowed them to engage with the brand in a way they never had before, within the set of a Street Fighter game watching the South African Champions battle it out.
